Impellitteri--Victim of the System (1993/Victor) Rating--8.4

A 5-track EP that was released right before the 'Answer to the Master' album. This introduced the band's more flowing style, though it's still not as full-fledged ripping as on the upcoming full-length release. Each of the five tracks is good.
The opening title track is fast and rapid, while "Visual Prison" has a solid chord rhythm. "Cross to Bear" has some sharp notes and leads, and shifts between slow-paced distortion, and piano sections. Good, melodic vocals.
"The Young and the Ruthless" is rolling, with tight chorus chops, and "Glory" is a compact and intricate instrumental.
