Recorded live in Japan in 1995 and 1996, and the liner notes say the job was done by fans. However, the quality is not rough like most "bootleg" tapings---instead, the quality is strong and surprisingly clear. Vocalist Rob Rock is as fluid as in the studio, and Chris Impellitteri is just staggering---without stealing the show through arrogance.
A number of solid highlights, including "I'll Be With You," "Victim of the System," and "Countdown to the Revolution."
A slow, crunchy intro leads into "Walk Away," and a nice acoustic beginning is a precursor to "For Your Love." The instrumental "Screaming Symphony" really allows Impellitteri to shine, as his six-string skills are vastly overlooked when the gods of the axe are mentioned in metal discussion circles...
