One By One--RealAudio

Black Metal from Norway. The band has long striven to convey a sense of "coldness" to their music, to help capture the landscape and mood of its homeland--and do a good job here. There are lots of steady tracks, and some really good rhythm thrashing in places.
"One By One" is a fast cut with an excellent mid-track thrash-out flow, and all of "Demonium," "Within the Dark Mind," "In My Kingdom Cold," and the title track are good. "Tyrants" is solid with its rugged doom churn.
