Immolation--Here in After

Immolation--Here in After (1996/Metal Blade) Rating--6.2

Death metal, and the music is fairly contained (for most DM standards). The double-bass is kept paced and in check, as there's not a lot of reckless abandonment to it.
Several tracks break through, including "Nailed to Gold," "Away From God," "Towards Earth," "Under the Supreme," and the slicing, buzzsaw notes of disc-closer "Christ's Cage". The huge DM fans will enjoy this early Immolation release, no doubt.
