Doom/Goth Metal
Two genres which are different when you get down to the specifics, but share a number
of qualities as well. Emotional, but often somber vocal work--occasionally operatic and even
spine-chill inducing! Keyboard work is often featured, but in a "gothic organ" sense, as mood and
atmosphere are often the key target areas. Dark melodies, plodding but often intricate arrangements.
