Gamma Ray
German style speed/symphonic metal. Formed in 1990 by former Helloween member Kai Hansen, and featuring vocalist Ralf Scheepers on the early releases. Fast guitars and soaring vocals are featured throughout, with tongue-in-cheek humor sprinkled in as well (mainly on the earlier albums). Really beginning to solidify and become a power metal force as the '90s come to a close.
