A fairly uneventful debut, but it shows the promise the group holds. Straight-forward, no nonsense rock/metal. "Not a Lot to Save" is a good intro tune, and "Crucifunkin'" displays the sound that will make their second release great. Gruntruck's sound is rock distortion--no pedals, effects, etc. At least, that's how it sounds. Sort of your jeans and tee-shirt type of metal band.
