Grim Reaper--Rock You to Hell (1987)
Rating--7.2

An sharp and updated NWOBHM sound; both fast and swift, with plenty of crunch. Sort of a Priest and heavy Dokken type of musical feel to the mix. Singer Steve Grimmett comes across with good range and power, evoking images of Jeff Martin from Racer X and some of the mid-'80s Riot singers. Ronnie James Dio is also hinted at, though Grimmett isn't as deep or full-throated.
The title song is pure drive, and both "Night of the Vampire" and "Rock Me 'Till I Die" follow up with nonstop energy. The biting chord riffs of "Lust For Freedom" place it near the top, and rockers "Waysted Love" and "I Want More" round out the effort.
In all, a good collection of metal from one of the classic names in the field.
