God Dethroned--Ravenous (2001/Metal Blade)
Rating--7.1

Villa Vampiria--RealAudio
More death metal from God Dethroned, and a gradual improvement is becoming evident in the band's career. This release has a nice atmosphere to its songs, withough losing any aggression in the process.
A weighty gathering of strong tracks, including "The Mysteries That Make You Bleed," "The Iconoclast Deathride," "The Crown for the Morbid," "Evil Dead," and the distinct notes of "The Poison Apple".
"Villa Vampiria" is a ripper, and the unit appear poised to make a run at the DM scene.
