Gamma Ray--Sigh No More (1991) Rating--8.0

This album is a wonderful improvement over the band's first effort, as the guitar sound is pushed more towards the front, Scheeper's vocals are more prominant and forceful, and the overall production in general is polished and professional. The disc starts out with a Priest-like scorcher, "Changes," and continues with several more stellar cuts. Like on the previous album there are lulls in the action, but overall a solid metal release. Of all the band's offerings, this is the one that most of the Priest and Halford comparisons come from.
Other highlights include "As Time Goes By," "(We Won't) Stop the War," "One With the World," "Start Running," and "Dream Healer".
