Lita Ford--Dangerous Curves (1991/BMG)
Rating--6.0

Fairly sharp post-glam music. In the heaviest places this is a little like same-era Crue and early Warrant; in the lighter spots it's along the lines of Danger Danger and Vixen.
As was to be the case with most of the late '80s/early '90s female-fronted metal units, there just wasn't too much of a buying audience.
"Larger Than Life" is upbeat and fairly raw, and ""What Do Ya Know About Love" has a good and grooving chorus. "Black Widow" is a tougher track--one of the few to be found after the first two cuts.
A smooth, pop-ish chorus is nice in "Holy Man," and "Hellbound Train" is above average.
TRACK LIST: Larger Than Life/What Do Ya Know About Love/Shot of Poison/Bad Love/Playin' With Fire/Hellbound Train/ Black Widow/Little Too Early/Holy Man/Tambourine Dream/Little Black Spider
