Night Crawler--RealAudio Burn Down the Night--RealAudio

This second release picks up where the solid debut left off, and actually kicks it up a notch--both in energy and song/riff writing. Very tight, with chunky chords and solid chops. Again like heavy Kiss, though shades of bottom-end Dokken and classic Armored Saint pound their way through as the overall sound gets heavier.
Of the eleven songs, all but one crunch from start to finish. "Night Crawler" has a grooving rhythm that drives the tune, excellent stop-and-go guitar strafing highlight "Burn Down the Night," and "Back to Zero" and the title song mix plod with power. All in all, one of those overlooked metal gems that's a true joy to find and listen to. Pick it up if you ever see it.
