Colors--RealAudio

Technical/Progressive metal from Italy, this debut displays shades of bands such as Superior and Mystere De Notre Dame. The biggest drawback at this point of the group's career is an occasional disjointed feel, as the flow and drumming of the songs is often broken by piano, off-tempos, and the like. The distortion and riffwork is good, but it will be a couple of albums until the songwriting catches up.
The tracks "Colors," "I Don't Know Why," and "Chalice of Insanity" are the strongest fare, while "Under This Ground" and "The Deaf and the Blind" hold their own.
