Insanity's Crescendo--RealAudio

Scandinavian artists Dark Tranquility were one of the first bands in the so-called "Gothenburg" style of Death/Black Metal, that incorporated tinges of both progressivism and melody in their music. This album is a fairly straight-forward and aggressive release; they will become more varied and experimental later in their career.
There are numerous good tracks to be found, including "Dreamlore Degenerate," "Scythe, Rage, and Roses," "Tongues," and the chopping "Atom Heart 243.5". The shifting "Insanity's Crescendo" starts out with female vocals before a heavy mainframe takes over.
