Dark Tranquility - Damage Done (2002/Century Media)
Rating - 8.2

Monochromatic Stains--RealAudio

The songwriting is more refined and aggressive, and overall a good description for 'Damage Done' might be a more atmospheric Raise Hell. A solid release, with highlights aplenty.
A strong riff-rhythm moves "Final Resistance," with more of the same coming from "Monochromatic Stains". "The Treason Wall" has a malevolent nature, and the slower pace of "The Enemy" fits well.
Other good cuts include "Hours Passed in Exile," "Single Part of Two," "White Noise/Black Silence," and the title track.
