Serve the Shame--RealAudio
A dark, moody, and overall solid album! A pleasant surprise upon hearing it. Reminds a lot of the slower Alice in Chains songs off of 'Facelift'. The guitar sound is very sharp, though the chords and setups that are played give them a darker feel in areas. The band, while we're at it, consists of four women from Stockholm. These ladies, like those in Phantom Blue, definitely know their instruments. Watch out guys...
Highlights include "Smile," "Serve the Shame," "Someone," and "Klotera". If you like slower power metal, and maybe the sound of Goth, this would be something to look into if you're searching for a new slant.
HOT CHOPS: Check out the mesmerizing bass work during the verses of "Smile". Nice...
Also, be sure to give this a listen through headphones. There are so many small changes in the tempo, guitar work, etc. that can only be fully appreciated through phones.
