Domine--Dragonlord (Tales of the Noble Steel) (1999/Metal Blade)
Rating--7.8

Power/speed metal, in that "True Metal" mold. There's some Sacred Steel, as well as faster-paced Hammerfall-- though not as chord-thick, overall. The vocals are high and clear.
"Thunderstorm" is a fast track, and is matched by "Defenders". Paced tracks include "Last of the Dragonlords" and "Blood Brothers' Fight," while "Dragonlord" is a cutting highlight.
The album-closing "The Battle for the Great Silver Sword" is a 13-minute, multi-sectioned track, and contains numerous high points.
TRACK LIST: Anthem (A Declaration of War)/Thunderstorm/Last of the Dragonlords (Lord Elric's Imperial March)/Blood Brothers' Fight/Defenders/Mars, the Bringer of War/Dragonlord (The Grand Master of the Mightiest Beasts)/Uriel, the Flame of God/The Ship of the Lost Souls/The Battle for the Great Silver Sword -- a suite in VII parts: I.
