Dies Irae--Immolated (2001/Metal Blade)

A death metal band with various mixes. The vocals are of the deeper range, and for the most part you have fast, pit-fare drums. There's stutter riffing
and Slayer-like lead moments in places, which definitely help some of the tracks. More rhythm shifts would be an improvement, as music in this genre often walks the fine
line towards monotany. Not bad, though.
Highlights include "Zohak," "Sirius B," "Bestride Shantak," "Hidden Lore," and the title track.
