Open Your Eyes--RealAudio

Down Factor hails from California's Bay Area, and boast an aggressive style of metal that reminds at times of early, heavy Sepultura. The vocals are semi-shouty, and the music is fueled by strong drumwork throughout. Testament axeman Steve Smyth plays lead on three tracks. As a sidenote, if you get a chance to attend one of the band's shows you should consider picking up one of their long-sleeve shirts. Excellent quality and design.
There are several strong tracks to be found, with "Open Your Eyes," "Hate, Inc.," and the instrumental "I, Mental" being at the forefront. Other notables include "In Vein" and "Judicial Hunt".
