Fast and fairly intricate metal; the music reminds at times of Iced Earth. The band is comfortable with atmospheric acoustic sections as well, and these mix well with distorted leads. The vocals, while deeper, still fit fine. A full album should be a treat...
"Ruins" is a strong leadoff track for this four-song EP, as "As Darkness Falls" is competent as well. "Burning Bridges" is a good light/heavy mix, as the band avoids being one-dimensional in its abilities.
