Danger Danger--Danger Danger (1989/CBS - Imagine)
Rating--6.8
A lot like the light metal/hard rock catchiness of Bon Jovi, with touches here and there of the
glam attitude. Overall a pretty decent release, with some keys, nice vocal melodies, and catchy choruses. Not as polished as Jovi, though.
Lead track "Naughty Naughty" opens with a cool computer-like voice intro, and has some nice riffs and a flow to it. The swift
and smooth pace of "Under the Gun" allows it to stand out, and the pulsing "Boys Will be Boys" also breaks through.
"Don't Walk Away" is a smooth and mostly acoustic track, and shows the band is more than one-dimensional.
A nice little
trip for the big fans of this particular mid-to-late eighties genre.
