Accident of Birth--RealAudio Road to Hell--RealAudio

Dickinson's best work since "7th Son," hands down. Although maybe debatable, I wouldn't be surprised to hear opinions that it's his best since "Powerslave". This is a tremendous comeback, as Dickinson returns to the heavy, straight-forward genre of metal to which he's always belonged. He reuinites with former Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith, and although Smith only helps write two songs, his playing style and influence are unmistakable. Another amazing bonus is Bruce's voice---it has returned! His range is like it was ten years ago, and he's singing with strong emotion once again.
This is not as fast as the classic mid-to-late 80's Maiden, but it has the same heavy guitar sound. Many highlights, including: "Freak," "Starchildren," "Darkside of Aquarius," "Road to Hell," "Man of Sorrows," and the title song---all pure metal rockers. There are also several strong songs which are slower and more emotional, with "Taking the Queen" and "Arc of Space" being prime examples.
