Speed/power metal, with heavy strains of bands such as Stratovarius, recent Gamma Ray, and early Helloween. At some of the heaviest and thickest moments the unit inches towards Iron Savior territory--though Gamma Ray is probably the closest comparison of all. Overall a solid debut offering.
The band's name alludes to the Mars-related themes held within the songwriting.
A number of tracks stand out, with some of the best being "Great Soul of Steel," "Confused Future," the rolling thump of "Last Prayers," and the chunky and cranking "Legend in Time."
Other mentionables include "The King," "Land of Life," and "Slave to Dream".
