In a stripped-down sense, this is a very strong epic and gothic-tinged album. Shades of 'Kill 'Em All' Metallica , fast-paced Priest, and thematic Manowar are all apparent in places. Wailing, range-driven vocals lend to the above images.
"In Time" is fast, heavy and strong, and "Beyond Belief" is a chunky riff groove throughout. "Traitors" is rapid, and "Fight the Dragon" is simply excellent--dark, with heavy distortion.
