Hate Crew Deathroll--RealAudio

Finland's lethal black/extreme/experimental sons return with a tantalizing platter of keys, synths, and thrashing, grinding distortion. There are moments of melodic, classic In Flames, and also some of full-tilt Soilwork and Raise Hell. The band's knack and ability to mix things up musically sets them apart, and makes this disc in particular a very fulfilling listen.
The fast opener "Needled 24/7" gives way to the chunky grinding of "Sixpounder," with "Chokehold" raising the bar even further. "Angels Don't Kill" has some nasty, atmospheric riffing, while the flowing chorus of "Bodom Beach Terror" stands out as well.
The title track is an adrenaline-filled buzzsaw, with "Little Bloodred Ridin' Hood" being a constant, moving piece. If you're able to grab the bonus-track version, you'll also be treated to a cover of Slayer's "Silent Scream".
