Follow the Reaper--RealAudio

This disc, the band's third release, is flowing throughout. COB is one of metal's most multi-talented bands, as the unit is very thrashing, but there is also a good deal of crunching power metal to be found. Consistent songwriting abounds, making this one a definite keeper.
The opening title track is a rolling ride, and virtually every song thereafter leaves a searing mark. "Everytime I Die" is thick and crunching, "Taste of My Scythe" is an aggressive piece, "Kissing the Shadows" has a nice gallop... and you get the point. No real low spots to be found, and depending on which country's version you buy, there are a variety of bonus/cover tracks included: WASP's "Hellion," the Scorpions' "Don't Stop at the Top," and Ozzy's "Shot in the Dark".
