Push, Push--RealAudio
A very nice album. Sounds AC/DC-ish at times, with solid riffs throughout. Considered glam at the time, and if you remember what the band looked like back in the 80's, you probably know why. However, as the old adage goes, "you can't judge a book by it's cover". I remember going to a Bon Jovi/Cinderella concert one time, and seeing literally hundreds of people leaving the colisseum after Cinderella got through playing. More balls than your average 80's glam band, bucko. Highlights include lead single "Shake Me," the caustic "Hell on Wheels," the rhythm-driven "Somebody Save Me," and the stomping "Push Push"-- though there really aren't any boring spots. This isn't flashy or overly brilliant music; rather, like AC/DC, the band knows how to work a groove and rhythm.
HOT CHOPS--"Nobody's Fool" is an extremely solid ballad. Very simplistic in style, but effective none the less. Tom Kiefer's vocals are at his best at the end of the song.
