A strong and very capable sophomore release, as this sees the band continuing in their classic, metallic, stripped-down ways. A heaping portion of consistent metal.
"Psychotically Deranged" is a driving and grinding slab, while "The Astrologicon" is faster and just as good. "Echelon" has a strong chorus, "Victim of Society" is a slow churner, and "The Edge" features nasty slowdown sections in the middle and end of the song.
Other good cuts include "Final Solution," "Root of All Evil," "The Trigger Effect," "Fountain of Youth," and "Broken Dreams".
