Thick shades of Sabbath, as the muddy, bass-heavy distortion reminds of the classic early-70s
sound. The vocals are a bit gravelly; the best moments (for the band as a whole) is when its comes close to imitating
Trouble. Not quite there, though...
A deep bass chug groove powers "Ride," with "Ashes You
Leave" and "Midnight Mountain" being similar in stature. The note-driven "Grim Luxuria" is strong, and riff changes in "Fountain
of Innocence" highlight the song's nice grooves. "Jaded Entity" is above-average as well.
Real skull-heavy stuff; hope you
like lots and lots of bass...
