Alice Cooper--Dragontown (2001/Spitfire)
Rating--6.4
The followup to the strong and ambitious 'Brutal Planet' misses out on a lot of the rawness and power of its predecessor. There is the same industrial-like distortion
(perhaps even moreso), but the overall songwriting and delivery are lacking.
The slower and crunchy "Sex, Death and Money" is good, and "Fantasy Man" is a top
track. Other notables include "I Just Wanna Be God" and the title cut.
