Children of the Grave--RealAudio Black Sabbath--RealAudio

A number of fairly big-name acts take a stab at some Sabbath classics. There are a couple of real nice gems here, and overall each of the songs is updated in an acceptable way.
At the top of the heap stands White Zombie's version of "Children of the Grave," with its tremendously deep bass driving throughout. Ugly Kid Joe delivers an excellent and yearning "N.I.B.," and the Rob Halford-led Bullring Brummies are mystical and thick on "The Wizard," with sharp distortion layered with nice harmonica work.
Other highlights include Megadeth's "Paranoid," Corrosion of Conformity's "Lord of This World," Sepultura's in-your-face rendition of "Symptom of the Universe," and Bruce Dickinson's (w/ Godspeed) "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath."
One of the better moments--if not the entire song--is when the Type O Negative cover of "Black Sabbath" kicks in and rolls near the end---pure malevolent bliss!
One question, though--Where in the world are Trouble and Cathedral? Unacceptable.
