John Bon Jovi led the mid eighties charge of arena rock with bands such as Cinderella, Poison, and Motley Crue. Commercial rock, with an excellent guitarist in Richie Sambora. What started as another make-up and spandex band soon turned into some serious hard rock, but has now eased off the distortion a bit.
