Black Sabbath - Vol. 4 (1972/Warner Brothers)
Rating - 7.8

The classic masters’ fourth release is a solid offering, containing quite a few of their mid-tier "hits."
Opener "Wheels of Confusion" is a tasty mix of psychedelia and doom, with "Supernaut" being a grooving and rollicking piece. A creepy Iommi rhythm snakes throughout "Under the Sun," and all of "Tomorrow’s Dream," "Snowblind," and "Cornucopia" are good.
The surprising piano ballad "Changes" shows a different side of the group, and its format is one that Ozzy would go on the successfully employ during his later solo career.
