Black Sabbath (featuring Tony Iommi)--Seventh Star
Rating--6.9

Part of the title is "featuring Tony Iommi." Kind of strange... Until you realize that Iommi is the only remaining member from the 70's (or early '80s, for that matter) units. Glenn Hughes is present on vocals, and certainly has a good enough voice. All of the little quarks taken into account, this is a good release-- but in all honesty, isn't really Sabbath. Without looking at the album cover, you'd never know it was them...
Some of the musical comparisons are a bit more recent on this one, moving close to George Lynch and Dokken-like riffs, as well as Priest from around the 'Defenders' era. Interesting!
"Heart Like a Wheel" and "Angry Heart" are both strong with chops, with "Danger Zone" and the Egyptian-sounding plodding rhythm of the title song being the other highlights. Again, interesting...
