Andy Franck and Brainstorm return with more excellent, thick & heavy distortion, with strong vocals splattered on top. This disc is very consistent, and follows a similar blueprint as the two preceding releases. However, that's possibly the only drawback here: little new ground is broken for the unit.
"Worlds are Comin' Through" thuds your skull at the onset, with some flowing axework highlighting "Inside the Monster." The tight and chopping "Painside" is definitely one of the best cuts featured, with other goodies including the fist-pounding chorus of "Even Higher" and the breakneck pace of "Lifeline."
More smoketrail power numbers include "All Those Words," "Despair to Drown," and "Mask of Life."
