Blaze - Blood and Belief (2004/SPV)
Rating - 8.6

The Blaze Bayley band returns with its third studio offering (and fourth overall), and what you find is more of the same good, solid metal. This is perhaps Blaze’s most flowing and enticing work yet. There’s no doubt about it, the dude can write strong riffs and incorporate them into solid songs, as he has truly shined following his brief stint in Maiden.
Virtually every song makes a stand, as the title track is attacking and strong, "Hollow Head" has some nasty grinding and swaying in its chorus, and the slower paced "Life and Death" is a deep-coated piece.
"Ten Seconds" has some standout guitar work, while "Regret" features above-par vocal work. Even more highlights are included elsewhere, making this a solid listen from start to finish.
