A four-man unit out of New York City, and its unique characteristic is that there are three bassists and a drummer. That's right, no guitars.
There's some attitude
and rebellion to the tracks, but it's just a bit difficult to label material such as this as being "metal"-- in any traditional sense, anyway. It is a unique sound, however, and
there's almost a skate-scene feeling, ala early Suicidal Tendencies.
Opening track "Shoat" builds into a bit of a roll, and closer "Sleeve" bounces along in
semi-funky fashion.
