Aerosmith--Live Bootleg (1978)
Rating--4.0
**U.S. Sales Certification--Platinum**

An OK selection of songs from the band's back catalog, but overall this is a pretty dry and uneventful endeaver. The two highlights are "Sweet Emotion" and the infectious "Chip Away the Stone"; the others seem rather uninspired. I'm not sure if it's the production quality, the band itself, or possibly even a little of both. But the energy is lacking in some form, that's for sure. As far as the "live" part goes, the crowd rears its head... but only between the songs??
Because of the tracklist, a nice little piece for the die hard 'Smith fans. Let it pass if you don't fit into that category.
