Medusa--RealAudio The Enemy--RealAudio

The Belladonna era of Anthrax, which was the band's best. This album is raw and in-your-face, with straight-ahead thrash metal. The style conjures visions of various bands: a less-serious Metallica (old school), Sepultura without the growl, numerous Bay-Area style rippers, and even a little Slayer. The main difference between those bands and Anthrax--at least at this time--is singer Joe Belladonna. He's a higher-pitched vocalist, and has great range.
Thrashers from this disc include "Madhouse," "A.I.R., " "Meedusa," "The Enemy," and "Aftershock".
A solid, sweltering pit-fest!
HOT CHOPS--The main riff and rhythm to "Medusa" is absolutely killer. Made to be played loud!
