Adrian Gale - Feel the Fire (2000/Kivel)
Rating - 6.8

Former Guardian singer Jaime Rowe leads up this melodic-metal unit, as there are strong AOR and hard rock undertones, reminding of early Harem Scarem, heavy Journey, party Kiss, a little Tesla, and E’nuff Z’nuff (some of the ballads).
The title track is a good opener, and the smooth-sounding "Save Our Love" follows up. The tough "Reap What You Sow" is likely the strongest cut, with both "Giving it Up" and "Mission Man" being commendable as well. A cover of Aerosmith’s "Walkin’ the Dog" closes things out.
Fans of the melodic-metal realm may want to look into this band, as there are plenty of hooks and choruses to be had.
