Let there be rock, indeed! Another great Scott-era album. Grooves, grooves, and more grooves.
This album also has more live energy than the previous releases, as the pace and action level seems to be much higher.
A lot may be due to the fact that some of the songs are set to faster rhythms. While still not a major breakthrough in the States,
this one made a few people sit up and listen, and the boys pounded their raunchiness in a fashion all their own.
The title
song is a classic, as is "Whole Lotta Rosie". "Go Down" is a great song that is underrated; even more so is the groove-infested
"Overdose". "Problem Child" is nasty attitude... heck, every track has Bon swaggering in that style that was all his own. Great stuff.
