Playing With Girls--RealAudio
Why don't people like this album? I remember seeing the band on the tour after this one (Ballbreaker), and they didn't play any songs from 'Fly on the Wall'. I couldn't believe it. Yes, the sound is a bit different: not as groovy/riffy, and more straight-forward metal--but this is still extremely solid work. The sound is a bit more "updated," if you will. Like 'Flick of the Switch,' this one is highly underrated.
Pretty much every songs has a solid base. There are anthemic rumblings: "Shake Your Foundations," "Sink the Pink," and "Back in Business." There are nastier, shifting moments: "First Blood," "Danger," and "Stand Up".
Possibly the two top spots--and my faves-- are "Playing with Girls" and the title song. Those are the types of cruisers you crank up in the car stereo, and before you know it... BAM!--you've got yourself a speeding ticket. Yeah, bucky--you know what I'm talkin' about...
